MedConsult: the doctor dictates and AI structures the record
The doctor dictates the visit, AI fills in the specialty's form and the doctor reviews it before saving.
The leak
Doctors lose clinical time writing every record by hand. It is a legal duty and the basis of continuity of care, but generic dictation tools don't know clinical structure, and almost none work inside a hospital network with a strict firewall.
What we built
- Dictation with a live transcript that works behind the hospital's firewall.
- AI fills in the specialty's form, flags missing or contradictory data and writes a summary; the doctor always reviews and edits.
- A form builder so every professional can adjust their own.
- A searchable history of visits and an admin console.
- Data isolated per organization, audit trail, encryption and scheduled deletion.

Demonstration images with sample data.
Result
- by an ER doctor at a public hospital
- In use
How we built it
The platform runs on AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway, with Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon S3. Extraction, the consistency check and the summary use Claude on Amazon Bedrock, and transcription can go through Amazon Transcribe via a bridge inside the hospital's network.
